Description

Heartery is puzzle game where players control blood flow in order to guide oxygen rich blood cells to needing body parts. Players must quickly adjust valves and avoid creating blood clots in order to keep the body alive as long as possible.

This game was created for the 2013 Global Game Jam where it was chosen most polished game at the Georgia SPSU location. The theme of the jam was: an audio clip of a heart beat.

I had a pretty small team for this game, but even so we were able to pull off an impressive amount of polish and content. During the jam, to assist with content creation I made an intuitive level editing system that allowed anyone to quickly create and test levels within the game.
